Magnetar through this project aims to develop and promote virtual reality technology methodologies for secondary schools education.
Concept and Activities:
The general idea of the project is to implement an innovative educational approach in high schools by using the Virtual Reality (VR) technology.
Teachers will be trained the first year in three short-term joint staff training events – one in Croatia which leads the Project, one in North Macedonia and one in Cyprus.
The second year, teachers must implement this innovative approach in their school classes.
One of the Project’s Collaborators, will be a software company, which will develop an app (a game for smart phones), which will be used by the students together with VR glasses in order to advance during the game.
In game education will consist of testing the knowledge and skills of students in various subjects (possibly in science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
There will be two intellectual outputs within the project:
- a Handbook for high school teachers
- a Strategy document for partnership between the project partners
